Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We offer three different Linux releases for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are some of the most stable and reliable OSs out there and we supply all 3 instead of just one because we realize that you may want to install some software which has specific requirements with regards to the Operating System it'll run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a large support community behind it and there're various software packages you could install on the web hosting server. Your OS choice will also determine what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS if you want to use one and because of this we offer several Control Panels as well. Should you decide that you need to have some other OS, our technical support can quickly wipe the current one and install the one that you want. We also offer an optional service to keep the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are cost-free and they will not increase the low price of your new web hosting server, but also because they are exceptionally secure and stable. Each one of them is backed up by a vast community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from a myriad of software packages that you may install on your server in case the application that you intend to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we would like to give you as much adaptability as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a certain OS, we could change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you'll need a different one. We could also keep your OS updated weekly as part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
